Thank god this will never happen. If tumblr will get bought tomorrow, my worst fear is that yahoo will start a huge promotion campaign and will make tumblr ‘mainstream’. Then all the idiots we hate come here, people will start to leave because you can’t share personal stuff anymore, no original content is made anymore and tumblr will die a slow death (or rather fast). Yahoo will not fuck this site up with stupid features, they’re not completely moronic. But they want it to grow fast and that is not something most of us are waiting for.
